I was in Philadelphia at the end of March and finally got to visit Spool, which is, of course, next door to Loop. At Spool, I picked up the the super cute Cottage Quilt Top Kit . They had the sample hanging on the wall in the store and I got some additional yardage in the Nature Walk by Cloud 9 fabric so that I could switch out some of the pieces in the kit and also make it larger if I wanted to.
I have begun piecing it but I’m still not sure what size it will ultimately be.
Even less sure am I of how long it will actually take to complete. I am currently quilting the Not-So-Irish Chain quilt I started a million years ago and will post about progress on that, before too long. The arduous process that has been its construction is documented in my Flickr stream, linked at right.
